The corn maze and pumpkin patch are open on the weekends during September and October.  Our promotional partners are DEKALB, Casey’s General Store and Van-Wall Group Inc. The 13th corn maze season is Sept. 2 through Oct. 29.


Center Grove Orchard

Pick apples, get lost in a corn maze, befriend animals, enjoy a great meal, and more at Center Grove Orchard. No matter what you want to do during your day on the farm, you’ll leave with priceless memories.


North River Adventures

North River Corn Maze is a family fun farm adventure for all ages. We have corn mazes for all ages, with many miles of mazes to keep the family on its feet all day. While wandering through the maze, play Farm Scene Investigation, and help find Farmer Joe!

We have several activities for all ages in the family, including games, educational items, corn cannon, and a large inflatable pillow to jump on. Feel free to visit our fainting goats, chickens, and cows while you are here too. If you feel you need to take breather from all the fun, drop by our concession stand to get a snack and something cool to drink. But before ending a great day a family fun, don’t forget to pick up some pumpkins and gourds!


Happy Apple Celebrations

Happy Apple is a family run apple orchard located in the slow rolling hills of the Iowa countryside. In the fall, enjoy hayrack rides, fishing or picking your own apples from the orchard.


Pumpkinville & Corn Maze at Mitchellville

Pumpkinville is one of the best places to visit in Iowa every Fall. Experience a bit of farm life, make memories & more! There is a 20-25 acre large corn maze that is full of challenges. You don’t just walk through this maze; it’s more of a scavenger hunt.


Howell’s Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze

Fall is a magical time of the year, especially at Howell’s Pumpkin Patch, located just 25 miles south of Des Moines off I-35. Here, the fall colors find their full glory amid pumpkins of all sizes & colors, beautiful mums & asters, fresh bittersweet, Indian Corn, corn stalks, decorative squash, gourds, antique farm machinery & Howell’s huge selection of dried florals & seasonal decorations.


The Pumpkin Ranch

A 9 acres corn maze, which includes checkpoints and a fun mystery game that is appropriate for all ages. A JUMP PILLOW, we can’t wait to share this new attraction with you. Hay rack rides will take you to the patch to cut your own pumpkins, gourds, and squash. Zip lines…for the adventurer in all of us. Two 30 foot slides to ensure the excitement will continue and Toddler Town (this area includes playground, playhouse, jump house, Farm Tracks game, and plenty of straw bale and giant tire climbs)


Wills Family Orchard

Wills Family Orchard and Pumpkin Farm is located just 20 minutes west of West Des Moines in the rolling hills of Dallas County, Iowa. In September and October, you can look forward to picking pumpkins in the Pumpkin Patch, meandering through the Corn Maze, browsing the General Store, shopping the Green House, jumping on the Big Orange Pillow, enjoying Uncle Bill’s Funny Goats, riding the Kid Kow Train, riding in the TMX Trikes, wheeling around the Wheel Barrow Course, playing in the Corn Bin, and refueling at Uncle Bill’s Feed Bag restaurant. On weekends you can watch exciting Barn Loft entertainers, learn from baking demonstrations and much more!
